Reset your (Sims 3) Game, the Cool Way

How to Reset Your Game Without Re-Installation. (Reduces lag, crashes, and other bugs)
Are you tired of frustrating crashes, insufferable lag, and painful loading time? Well, this trick has always worked for me, so I’ll share it with you! Now to keep your game running smoothly, regularly clean out your cache files and repeat these steps once or twice a month!
What you’ll need:
• The Sims 3
• Common Knowledge
• Nerves of Steel and Willingness to Delete
Step 1:
Step 1:
Locate your Sims 3 folder found in this directory:

Step 2:
Now we need to backup the important things, like CC. Select the following folders and move them to a safe place, like your Desktop.

(Incase you can’t read due to the small pictures, the selected folders are DCCache, Downloads, Installed Worlds, Library, SavedSims, Saves, and Mods)
Step 3:
Now that you’ve moved everything important (if you’re paranoid like me, go ahead and double check), go ahead and and press Ctrl + A to select all the other crap in there.

Step 4:

Now this is very important to do in the correct manner; hit that delete key with pride. Hit it like that sexy celebrity you love. Hit it with such pride that when you’re done, you’ll acquire the “Stride of Pride" moodlet.

Step 5:
Calm the fuck down.
Step 6:
Move your important folders back into The Sims 3 folder.
Step 7:
Start your game up and brace yourself for some fast loading porn.
Step 8:
